How To Get More Production Point In TERA

The crafting system requires production points (PP's). Production points are used for each gathering attempt (25) and also to craft materials (varying cost). Production points are account bound meaning that all characters on an account share them and have a cap of 4,000. Production points regenerate at a rate of about 5 per 5 minutes regardless of whether a character on the account is logged in or not and about 1,440 can be regenerated per day.

There are items that can recover production points instantly and can be bought. Crafter's cure restores 1,000 production points while Crafter's cure-all restores 4,000 production points. Production Points can make gathering and crafting. When crafting, each design has a listing of how many Production Points it takes to craft each item.

Besides owning designs and materials used to craft then, the type and amount of items you can craft is limited by how many Production Points you have. So if you have enough materials to craft your design 20 times but only have enough Production Points to craft one item, you can only craft your design one time until your Production Points replenish.

Gathering each node costs 25 Production Points. It does not matter if it is an Ore, Essence or Plant node, the cost is 25 Production Points to gather each node. There is a way to reduce the number of Production Points needed to gather each node. The auto-gathering pet named “Felicity” reduces the Production Points cost by 20%. Since it normally costs 25 points to gather each node, Felicity will gather each node for 20 Production Points. You can acquire Felicity three different ways, by hitting the jackpot loot when opening “Lucky Cat Carrier” boxes, buying from Trade Broker or hitting a jackpot opening an Elite Status box.

You can regen Production Points in 3 ways…
– Every five minutes you automatically get 5 Production Points, it does not matter if you are logged in or offline.
– You can buy a “Twice Cured Loot Box” or “Once Cured Loot Box” from the EMP store, or buy a “Crafter Cure” or “Crafter’s Cure All” from the Trade Broker.
– If you are Elite Status you receive 1 potion each day you login that replenishes 1,000 Production Points. This pot is not tradable.

Crafting is the way through which players can create weapons, equipment, and other useful items. There are 4 kinds of raw materials that can be gathered and 5 available crafting skills, and every character is able to take on all the skills at the same time up to a maximum skill level of 500. After reaching a skill level 500 in a crafting skill a player is allowed to take an Artisan test, increasing the cap for that skill to 800.
