The crafting system requires production points (PP's). Production points are used for each gathering attempt (25) and also to craft materials (varying cost). Production points are account bound meaning that all characters on an account share them and have a cap of 4,000. Production points regenerate at a rate of about 5 per 5 minutes regardless of whether a character on the account is logged in or not and about 1,440 can be regenerated per day. There are items that can recover production points instantly and can be bought. Crafter's cure restores 1,000 production points while Crafter's cure-all restores 4,000 production points.
